  • While currently only avaiable to Japan Koei Tecmo, famous for their dynasty warriors franchise, has released their latest game simply called "Attack on Titan Game."If you are interested in playing it can easily be imported and played by those with absolutley no understanding of Japanese. Granted depending on where you live you may end up paying upwards of $80 just to import the game! While Koei Tecmo does plan to make a western release that will likely be between $40 - $60, this won't happen until August of this year. However i'll say this right now, the game is worth no where near that price tag... It isn't really a bad game, the graphics are pretty good if your like me and a fan of cell shading, and while none of the epic songs heard in the show appear in the game the soundtrack is still decent. The thing that killed this game for me was how repetative the game got. It does not matter if you're doing the laughably, yet understandably short campaign or the outside the walls mode. All you will be doing is locking on, hooking, and killing. over, and over, and over. The worst part is unlike the show where the enemy can be done in with one precise cut, this game will have you cutting several times until the titan's "health" goes down... almost like you're playing a warriors game actually. The multiplayer is also just awful, connection is fine I guess but your friends, like the npcs, will noticably not have any hooks just a cloud of gas from the gear. But the thing that makes the multiplayer bad is that everyone playing will basically be god level strong which makes multiplayer kind of pointless. In short, wait until you can pick this up for like $20 an save some money if you're still interested.

  • The award winning game Dark Souls is back with its third and final installment! And as you may expect, it is still as brutal and unforigving as the previous entries. Personally I think Dark Souls 3 is slightly easier that Dark Souls 2, but this could just be because i've gotten used to the way Dark Souls plays. Don't worry, you can still expect a lot of rage inducing deaths as you attempt to advance. The game currently retails for $60 and i'd have to say that for $60 this probably the best game i've played since 2016 began. If you're not a fan of Dark Souls combat then you are going to hate this game, however if you can find some enjoyment in it, expect hours, upon hours of gameplay.
